About Us
Nagan Engineering (Fiji) Pte Ltd, based in Ba, is recognized as Fiji’s first foundry, founded in 1945 by the late Mr. Abel Nagan, an Indo‑Fijian apprentice under the Colonial Sugar Refinery in the 1930s. Incorporated in 1966, the company has evolved from a small blacksmith operation into a modern, high‑tech foundry servicing nationwide needs.
Under the continued leadership of the Nagan family—Mrs. Leah Nagan, who supported the business from 1975, and current management by Mr. Anand Nagan—the company remains committed to serving Fiji with locally manufactured products, creating employment, and helping reduce foreign exchange outflows. Today, it operates with a dedicated team of about 25 employees across machine‐fitting, foundry, welding, grinding, maintenance, and design departments.
